It was in 1984 when Luciano Crudo opened a workshop for marble working.

In 2000, after continuous development, Ideal Marmi s.a.s. of Crudo Luciano Nicola & Co. was born. The company took on a more modern and functional form, with two plants covering approximately 9000 m², and above all with a strong desire to keep growing. Today the company is equipped with technologically advanced machinery, and a research process continuously focused on enhancing stone materials through the work of stonemasons, cutters, sculptors, and designers.

Additionally, we offer our clients a wide range of materials, suggestions, ideas, and designs to create increasingly personalized spaces.

Today, Ideal Marmi exports its tradition and technology in marble craftsmanship throughout the world, with high levels of quality and innovation.

Workshop

The company is made up of highly skilled personnel specialized in marble work, spanning small, artisanal projects to supplying materials for large-scale construction and restoration works.

Between Tradition and Technology

We use CNC (computer‐numeric controlled) machines alongside the traditional manual craftsmanship of our skilled artisans, allowing us to realize ever more complex architectural solutions requested by designers and to offer an increasingly wide range of products and finishes.

Our ongoing search for new materials from different countries around the world ensures our clients always have access to the most suitable materials for their desired solutions.

Equipment

Horizontal Stone Work Center
5‐axis CNC machine for processing blocks, solid stone pieces (masselli), and slabs in natural or composite stone. Performs all kinds of drilling, milling, cutting with up to 1000 mm diameter disks, shaping, contouring, recessing, hollowing, polishing, sculpting, engraving, variable-angle beveling, lettering, and turning.

Waterjet Cutting System
An innovative water‐jet cutting system enables any finishing, inlay work, shaping, and engraving with maximum precision.

Bridge Saw for Stone
Mainly used for cutting slabs and solid stone blocks of marble, granite, and natural/composite stones into pieces of desired shape and size.

Multi‐spindle Belt Edge Polisher
Automatic belt edge polisher: performs calibrating, straight edges, bevels, undercuts, drip grooves, inclined cuts, bevel polishing, small notches, slots; produces round or regular curved edges (half round, owl beak etc.).
